I like the barrel length and carbine approach, as well as the 7.2lbs ( :) ), but it does sound a bit louder than the Mrod (if it matters). Seemed to be getting good velocity, at around 1000+fps. Maybe a good depinging would reduce the noise some.
Prod (tuned by Paul B., LW barrel, RB grips, ACE Folding stock, camo, TKO & JG brakes)
Sold: .22 Mrod "The Toad" (tuned by Paul B., 18" LW barrel, Toad-A-Flage camo)
Sold: .25 TT Mrod w/ reservoir and shroud extensions

It is my understanding that Evanix will be coming out with a .25 and 9mm (.357) in the near future. These guns are known for their power with shot count. Also I did see where they will have a true semi auto.

The new mag will not fit the older model, it's now similar to a AA mag. Mod's on the older models screw onto the shroud. Changing the shroud guts out will make it better though. You would need a shroud to 1/2UNF adapter, barrels not threaded.

Word is the Version 2 updates the rotary magazine so most likely there will be NO RETROFIT between old and new there :x

As for mods ? ... Outside of trigger hone/polish work the guns reportedly are ANIMALS !! with most stating power in reality is excessive and too fast a shooter with all but the heaviest pellets. Read many posts of guys actually De-Tuning slowing down pellets for better accuracy.
