Post them here.

P-Rod carbine finished, finally

Postby Viking » Sun Mar 11, 2012 3:11 pm

Finally done, well almost, I'm attaching a laser later. Took 3 month reading, researching stuff and ordering from half the world.
Internally I have only changed to a HD spring so far, might drill the transfer port later.
Took some pictures today, I was out with the family by the cabin shooting some on the ice, great early spring weather.
I'm very happy with this build, but I must admit it feels a bit empty now when its done.

Looks sharp. I own the same scope. I imagine the prod is the lightest component there. Well.. once you get the aluminum folding stock.

Looks bad ass all put together! And the kit looks very "operator" like, all packed up. The 4-16X was too much scope for my needs, and backed it down to a 3-12X for size and FOV.

That's what I want in a Prod! Well, I'd be happy with a custom Steve C. carbine wood stock modified with a quick-disconnect for the shoulder stock. But Crosman needs to be offering something similar to this. :D

The back of the Prod can EASILY be modified to take a standard AR15 buffer tube. There are literally hundreds of different stocks for the AR. Magpul PRS is the best sniper stock out there, their collapsable units are also top notch. The only thing you need to mount a AR stock is its buffer tube. The buffer tube is just a tube of aluminum with threads on one end to screw into the AR's reciever, the other end has a threaded hole for a mounting bolt. All AR stocks ar mounted with one simple bolts. Here is a link to the buffer, like I said once this buffer is installed a whole world of stock options opens up...

Heres a link to a few of the hundreds of different stocks that can be mounted to the tube.

I took a second look at the pics of your gun. I think the ar buffer tube will screw right into the adapter you already have mounted to your folding stock. It looks like its AR stock ready with the purchase of the buffer tube!

Would you be interested in selling the entire setup or giving me specific details for my own ordering? I really like it
